Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz / 400 g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 2 cups beef broth (or water)
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika (Hungarian if possible)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Brown the Meat:
    In a large skillet or pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add Aromatics:
    Stir in the chopped onion and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  3. Add Sauce & Spices:
    Mix in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Stir well.
