Serve them warm with cream cheese dip, and you’ve got all the flavor of a bagel in a fun, poppable bite!
Ingredients:
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 2–3 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
Instructions:
- Prepare the filling
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and mozzarella until smooth and spreadable. - Shape the bites
Roll out the dough and cut it into small squares (about 2 x 2 inches). Place about 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture in the center of each square, then fold the dough around the filling and pinch the seams to seal. - Coat and season
Place the bites seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning. - Bake
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown. - Serve
Enjoy warm, either on their own or with cream cheese dip on the side.
Storage:
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven or air fryer for the best texture.
- Not ideal for freezing once baked, but you can freeze unbaked filled dough balls and bake them straight from frozen (adding a couple extra minutes to the baking time).
