Refreshing, Light, and Naturally Sweet!
This cucumber lemonade is the ultimate thirst-quencher — cool, revitalizing, and made with simple, wholesome ingredients. The crisp taste of cucumber blends perfectly with the tang of fresh lemon for a drink that feels like pure sunshine in a glass!
Ingredients:
- 2 large cucumbers, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
- ½ cup honey or sugar (adjust to your sweetness preference)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
Instructions:
- Blend:
Add the chopped cucumbers, lemon juice, honey (or sugar), and 2 cups of water to a blender. Blend until completely smooth. - Strain (optional):
For a smoother texture, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher. If you prefer a more natural feel, you can skip this step. - Add water:
Stir in the remaining 2 cups of cold water and mix well. - Serve:
Pour over ice cubes and garnish with cucumber slices or a sprig of mint for extra freshness.
Tips:
- For a sparkling twist, replace 1 cup of water with sparkling water just before serving.
- Add a few mint leaves or a slice of ginger while blending for a unique flavor.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days — stir before serving.
Storage Method
- Refrigeration:
Store leftover cucumber lemonade in a sealed glass jar or pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Stir or shake before serving, as natural separation may occur. - Avoid Freezing:
It’s best not to freeze this drink since fresh cucumber loses its bright flavor and smooth texture when thawed. - Serving Tip:
For the freshest taste, add ice cubes and garnish (like mint or cucumber slices) just before serving, not before storing.
