They’re perfect for game-day snacks, holiday gatherings, or even a quick family appetizer. Best of all, they come together in no time, making them a reliable go-to when you need something warm and satisfying straight from the oven.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) breakfast sausage (pork or turkey), cooked and crumbled
  • 1 (8 oz / 225 g) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 (8 oz / 225 g each) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra cheesiness)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage, cream cheese, cheddar cheese (if using), garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until creamy and well blended.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into individual triangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of sausage mixture on the wide end of each triangle, then roll up toward the narrow tip.
  6. Arrange crescents on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve warm.

Storage & Reheating:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes to crisp them back up.
  • You can also freeze baked crescents for up to 2 months; reheat from frozen at 350°F until warmed through.
