Instructions
- Sauté Aromatics & Brown Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing for 2 minutes until softened. Add ground beef and cook 5–7 minutes, breaking it up until no pink remains. Drain excess fat.
- Combine & Layer in Slow Cooker: Transfer beef mixture to a 6-quart slow cooker. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Layer half of the sliced potatoes over the beef mixture. Repeat with remaining beef and potatoes.
- Slow Cook: Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours, until potatoes are fork-tender.
- Add Cheese & Finish: Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Re-cover and cook until cheese is melted and bubbly.
